Course Overview
This course is perfect for complete beginners, as well as therapists looking to gain a professional qualification in Reflexology. During your time with us you will be taught how to reflex zones on areas of the feet and hands to re-align imbalances in the body by manipulation techniques to achieve outstanding results. The ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology is recognised by the Association of Reflexologist and is accepted for membership. Qualifying with ITEC allows you to join federations, gain insurance to set up your own business or gain employment as a Reflexologist in salons, clinics, health clubs, spas and hotels. This ITEC qualification is recognised internationally and accepted all over the world.
This course incorporates three modules of Anatomy and Physiology, Reflexology, Professional Conduct and Business Awareness. This means that once the course has been completed you will be qualified to start your own practice. However, this also means that the course is intensive and will require home study, e-Learning and 40 case studies. Once students have achieved an ITEC Level 3 Diploma that includes Professional Conduct and Business Awareness and Anatomy and Physiology, these transfer to other ITEC therapy modules.
Course Requirements
In order to complete your ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology, you will also need your ITEC Level 3 Anatomy and Philology and the ITEC Level 3 in Professional Conduct and Business Awareness modules. These can be studied alongside this course and you will be given full support.
To achieve your Reflexology module you need to complete:
* A practical exam,
* Undertake 40 case studies
* Take 2 multiple choice question paper exams in both Reflexology and Professional Conduct and Business.
If you already have current prior learning in Level 3 Professional Conduct and Business Awareness and Level 3 in Anatomy and Physiology these modules will be accredited to the Reflexology module to complete the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology.
In order to enrol on these courses students need to have 5 GCSEs or equivalent life skills which can be discussed on application. Records of prior learning will also be reviewed and, if current, will be accredited to the courses.
Costs
The Reflexology course is £1,150. This includes 9 full days teaching and practical work, ITEC Level 3 Professional Conduct and Business Awareness and an online support package for Reflexology. This also includes exam fees. Another day will need to be designated for the exam on completion of the course.
We request a non-refundable, upfront deposit of £100 when you book and we can arrange for you to pay the balance in instalments if you wish.
Other costs will be books, uniform, towels, couch covers and Reflexology mediums. We feel very strongly that uniform, towels and couch cover should reflect your ongoing choice of colours for your practice rather than being stipulated by us.
